Files are processed in your browser — never uploaded

Sizes come from each exam's published notice, with the source linked above. Rules change between cycles, so match them against your current notification before you submit. Your files are processed in this browser tab and never uploaded.

Why a normal compressor keeps failing on exam forms

An exam portal checks 3 things: the file type, the pixel size, and a byte window with a lower and an upper limit. A compressor with a quality slider handles only one of those, and only by guesswork. You drag the slider, download, upload, read the error, and repeat. The lower limit is the part almost nobody expects. A clean signature on white paper has so little detail that JPEG squeezes it to a few kilobytes, and a portal with a 10 KB floor throws it out even though the picture is perfect.

This tool works the other way round. You pick the exam, it loads the window from the notice, and it searches for the file that sits inside that window. If the image is heavy, it lowers quality step by step and keeps the highest quality that fits. If it is too light, it pads the file up to the floor. You see the final size before you download, so the first upload is usually the last one.

The four uploads, and what each one needs

The photo is a recent colour picture, face straight to camera, plain light background, no cap and no dark glasses. The signature is done in black or blue ink on white paper, inside a box, never in capital letters for banking forms. The left thumb impression is pressed in blue or black ink on white paper. The handwritten declaration, which banking exams ask for, is a fixed sentence written by hand in English and signed. Each of these has its own size limit, and the tool switches the window when you switch the tab.

For signatures, thumbs and declarations shot on a phone, turn on Clean paper to white. Phone cameras make white paper look grey, and some portals reject a grey background. The option pushes the paper to pure white and keeps the ink dark, without changing the shape of your signature.

Name and date on the photo

Some exams want the candidate name and the date the photo was taken printed below the face. When an exam's notice asks for this, the option switches on by itself. Type your name exactly as in the form and pick the date. The strip takes the bottom part of the frame, and the text shrinks to fit so a long name never gets cut off.

Before you hit submit

Open the downloaded file once and check that the face or signature is sharp and not cropped. Compare the size shown here with the limit printed in your notice for this cycle, since commissions sometimes change it. Keep the same photo for every form in one recruitment cycle, because the photo on your admit card is matched against you at the centre. If your exam is missing, use Custom size with the numbers from your notice. The fitting works the same way.

How to Use

Search your exam (SSC, IBPS, NEET, UPSC, GDS, RRB...) or choose Custom size.

2

Pick what you are uploading: photo, signature, thumb or declaration.

3

Add the image, then zoom and move it so the face or signature fills the frame.

Tool Limits

Image tools can optimize and transform files, but source quality still matters. Blurry, over-compressed, or badly lit images may need a better original before editing.
