Update, 10 October 2026: QuickHunt replaced its one-time passes with Free, Basic, Pro and Premium plans that run on AI credits, and paid plans now renew through AutoPay unless you pick pay-once. The pricing, trial and FAQ sections below reflect the new plans.
Disclosure: QuickHunt.in is built by the team behind ToolMintX. Everything below was checked against QuickHunt's own public pages on 10 October 2026: the product pages, pricing, help, privacy policy and ATS checker documentation. Where this post says what the product does, it links to the page that says so.
Most resume tools give you one number and no reason. You upload a file, a score comes back, and you are left guessing which line dragged it down. Some go further and hand your resume to an AI that rewrites it into something that sounds impressive and quietly claims things you never did. Both problems hurt you in the same place: the interview, where a recruiter asks about a line you cannot explain.
QuickHunt is built around the opposite idea. The ATS score comes from fixed rules, every issue points to the exact line it is about, and the AI that rewrites your wording is not allowed to touch your employers, titles or dates. This post walks through what it actually does, what it costs, and where it is honest about its own limits.

What QuickHunt is
QuickHunt.in is a resume builder, ATS checker and job toolkit in one workspace. Every part works on the same document, so you don't copy a resume between five sites:
- Resume builder with a live page preview, 18 templates and PDF export. Content and design are stored separately, so switching templates changes only the look.
- Import of an existing PDF or DOCX (up to 5 MB) into editable sections.
- ATS checker with 25+ rule-based checks, each linked to the field it is about.
- AI resume writer that rewrites a bullet, a section or the whole resume.
- Job match that shows which skills in a posting your resume covers and which are missing.
- Cover letter builder that drafts one page from your resume and the job.
- Job search that scores public listings against your resume.
- Mock interviews, scored question by question, and a voice tutor for live practice calls.
How the ATS score is calculated
An applicant tracking system (ATS) turns your file into text and fields before a recruiter ever searches or reads it. Most rejections that feel unfair happen at that step: a two-column layout read in the wrong order, contact details stuck in a header the parser skips, or a scanned PDF with no text in it at all.
QuickHunt's checker looks for exactly those problems, plus the content issues a recruiter notices. The score is out of 100, split into five weighted categories:
| Category | Weight | What it checks |
|---|---|---|
| ATS essentials | 25% | File type and size, selectable text, columns or tables, images, header and footer content, name, email, phone, location, links |
| Sections | 15% | Experience, education and skills present; each role has a title, company and start date; summary length |
| Content & impact | 30% | Measurable results, action verbs, weak phrasing like "responsible for", bullet length and count, repetition, buzzwords |
| Style | 10% | First-person pronouns, punctuation, consistent date formats, reverse-chronological order, employment gaps |
| Job match | 20% | When you paste a job description: hard-skill and soft-skill keyword coverage, and whether your headline matches the title |
Two details make the score more useful than most:
- It is deterministic. The same content and job description always produce the same report. If your score moves, something you changed moved it. The optional AI recruiter review can add red flags and a suggested headline, but its findings carry zero weight on the score.
- Critical problems cap it. A resume with no experience section or an invalid email cannot score above 64, however polished the rest is. An image-only file with no text layer is capped at 30. That stops a good-looking score from hiding a resume an ATS cannot read.
Fixing a line, not reading a report
A report you have to translate into edits is a report most people close. QuickHunt sorts issues by severity (critical, improve, suggestion, passed) and every issue opens on the exact field it is about, with one of four actions:
- Fix: a safe change applied immediately and undoable, like normalising date formats.
- Fix with AI: a rewrite shown next to your original, which you accept, edit or reject.
- Edit manually: the field opens with guidance, for facts only you know, like the number behind a result.
- Show: jumps to the line so you can see it in context.
An issue only counts as resolved when a fresh check passes, not because you clicked a button. A weak bullet like "Worked on server deployment" gets flagged for missing measurable impact, and the suggested rewrite is shown for review before anything changes.
What the AI is not allowed to change
This is the part that matters most if you have ever had a recruiter ask about a line an AI wrote for you. QuickHunt's AI writer can return your summary, bullets for roles that already exist, and skills. It cannot change:
- employers
- job titles
- dates
- schools
- locations
Suggestions that add numbers, technologies, qualifications or names that are not already in your resume are flagged and not pre-selected. In a whole-resume rewrite they are not applied at all. QuickHunt's own help page is direct that these checks cannot catch every overstatement, so you still read each suggestion before applying it. The AI makes your wording sharper. The facts stay yours.
AI is also optional. The editor, templates, section coach and ATS checks on saved resumes all work without it. Only import and AI rewrites need it, and those use AI credits (see pricing).
Job match, cover letters and interview practice
Job match. Paste a job description and QuickHunt shows which hard skills, soft skills and title keywords your resume already covers and which are missing. You can then tailor the resume to that role, under the same rule: no invented experience.
Cover letters. A one-page draft built from your resume and the job, so you start from your own facts instead of a blank page. Cover letters are not stored on QuickHunt's server; the draft stays in your browser tab until you close it.
Job search. Public listings from sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Greenhouse and Lever, found through web search and scored against your resume. QuickHunt does not host or verify listings, so confirm any job on the employer's own site.
Mock interviews. Pick a role, level and type (technical, behavioral, HR, aptitude or mixed) and answer 5 to 12 timed questions. The report scores each answer, explains what was missing and shows the correct answer. You count as "interview ready" when your last three mock interviews for a role average 75 or more and no topic is below 50.
Voice tutor. A live voice call with an AI tutor that knows your resume, the job and your weak topics. It can teach a concept, run a spoken mock interview or coach your spoken English, then gives a report with communication scores and practice tasks. Calls run up to 30 minutes each and 60 minutes a day, need the Pro or Premium plan (or the trial), and use 1 AI credit per started minute.
Pricing
QuickHunt is free to start. The Free plan has no card and no end date: build up to 2 resumes, run unlimited ATS scores and use 10 AI credits every 30 days. You pay when you need PDF downloads, more AI help, more mock interviews or the voice tutor.
| Plan | Monthly | Quarterly | Yearly | AI credits / 30 days | Mock interviews | Saved resumes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | ₹0 | ₹0 | 10 | 1 | 2 |
| Basic | ₹199 | ₹499 | ₹1,699 | 100 | 3 | 5 |
| Pro | ₹499 | ₹1,299 | ₹4,199 | 400 | 15 | 20 |
| Premium | ₹999 | ₹2,499 | ₹7,999 | 1,200 | 40 | Unlimited |
What separates the plans:
- PDF downloads start at Basic. On Free you can build and score a resume but not download it.
- The voice tutor starts at Pro.
- ATS scoring, keyword match, the section coach, every template and the editor are on every plan, Free included.
Longer billing periods cost less per month. Yearly Basic works out to ₹141.58 a month (29% off paying monthly), yearly Pro to ₹349.92 (30% off) and yearly Premium to ₹666.58 (33% off).
How AI credits work
Every AI action spends credits from your plan's 30-day allowance:
| AI action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Rewrite a bullet or section | 1 |
| Improve the whole resume | 1 |
| AI recruiter review | 1 |
| Read or import an uploaded resume | 1 |
| AI job matching | 1 |
| Cover letter | 2 |
| Mock interview (3 to start, 2 to grade) | 5 |
| Voice tutor | 1 per started minute |
QuickHunt's own example: Basic's 100 credits cover about 60 rewrites, 10 cover letters and 4 full mock interviews in a month. Plan credits refill every 30 days and don't roll over. If you run out, top-up packs cost ₹99 for 15 credits or ₹299 for 60. Top-ups never expire and stay with you if you change or end a plan. A failed or stopped AI request gives its credits back, and repeating an AI review on unchanged content is free.
Trial, renewals and refunds
- 15-day Pro trial. When you start it, you choose the plan you want afterwards and set up Razorpay AutoPay. Nothing is charged during the trial (Razorpay may place a small authorisation that is returned straight away). Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged. QuickHunt emails you a few days before the first charge. There is one trial per person and per device.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month, quarter or year until you cancel in Settings → Billing. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Prefer no renewal? You can pay once for a single period instead. Buying the same pass again extends it.
- Switching plans takes effect straight away. The days left on your current plan are converted to the new plan by price, and a new 30-day credit cycle starts.
- When a plan ends you move to Free. Your resumes and top-up credits are kept.
- Refunds: all sales are final, including renewals and unused credits. If you were charged and nothing appeared, or charged twice, that is fixed or refunded.
Payments go through Razorpay (cards, UPI, netbanking and wallets), and prices are in Indian rupees.
Which plan to pick: Free is for trying it out and fixing your ATS score. Basic (₹199) is for applying: PDF downloads and enough AI to tailor a resume and cover letter for each application. Pro (₹499) is for interview prep, with 15 mock interviews and the voice tutor. Premium is for an intense search or for career coaches.
Privacy
A resume holds your name, phone number, email and work history, so where it goes matters. From QuickHunt's privacy policy:
- Contact details are removed before AI rewriting. Your name, email, phone, address, website, LinkedIn and GitHub are stripped before resume content goes to an AI provider. For imports, they are replaced with placeholders.
- Uploaded files are not kept. A PDF or DOCX is read in memory and discarded. Only the extracted content and the file name are saved.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The only cookie is the sign-in session. Data is not sold or used for advertising.
- Reports are capped. The most recent 100 ATS reports are kept and older ones are deleted automatically.
What it does not do
A tool that explains its limits is easier to trust. QuickHunt says these plainly:
- It cannot guarantee you pass an ATS. Employers configure their systems differently, and many shortlist by hand. A high score means you have removed common obstacles, not that you will be shortlisted.
- Uploaded-file scores can vary slightly between runs, because the AI parse of the file may differ. Checks on a resume saved in the editor are fully repeatable.
- Export is PDF only. There is no Word export yet. Exported PDFs have a real, selectable text layer, not images of the page.
- Two-column templates are a risk on big portals. QuickHunt's two-column PDFs keep text in reading order, but some ATS software still reads columns wrongly. For large employers' online portals, use a single-column template.
- Scanned PDFs, password-protected PDFs and old .doc files cannot be imported.
If you want to start without signing up, the ATS checker page explains every check, and the ATS resume guide covers which formatting breaks parsing. When you are ready, create a free account; the Free plan needs no card.
FAQ
Is QuickHunt free? Yes, to start. The Free plan has no card and no time limit: 2 saved resumes, unlimited ATS scores and 10 AI credits every 30 days. PDF downloads need Basic (₹199 a month) or above. You can also try Pro free for 15 days.
Does QuickHunt auto-renew? Paid plans do, through Razorpay AutoPay, until you cancel in Settings → Billing. If you don't want renewals, choose pay-once for a single period instead. The Free plan never charges.
What are AI credits? Each AI action costs credits: a rewrite or AI review is 1, a cover letter 2, a mock interview 5 and the voice tutor 1 per minute. Your plan's credits refill every 30 days. Top-up credits never expire.
Will the AI add skills or numbers I don't have? It is designed not to. Employers, titles and dates are locked, and suggestions that add numbers, tools, names or seniority not already in your resume are flagged and not pre-selected. Read each suggestion before you apply it.
Is my resume sent to an AI? Only for features you start, such as import, rewrites, the recruiter review and cover letters. Your name and contact details are removed first.
Can I use it for jobs in India? Yes. Prices are in rupees, payment works over UPI, and job search covers Indian listings such as Naukri as well as LinkedIn and Indeed.
Does a high ATS score guarantee an interview? No. The score estimates how well a resume follows common parsing and screening practices. It cannot see how a particular employer has set up its system.
